Scholarship

* Scholarships are financial assistance given to students to help pay for their education.

* To empower the students to pursue their education.

* Renewable and provided each semester or year.

* Students must be native of Tamil Nadu.

* One student can avail only one Govt. scholarship.

* Students admitted under Industrial/ NRI quota are not eligible for scholarships.

 

The list various scholarships availed by the students are furnished below:

02 Community Scholarship for SC,ST students

Both Union Government

· Annual income should be less than 2.5 lakhs per year.

· Eligible students can apply through SSP portal https://ssp.tn.gov.in/

· Educational assistance to the students of SC/ST both counseling

 and management.

  Scholarship amount Rs. 50,000/- year + Maintenance allowances

· First Graduate of the family

· Nativity of Tamil Nadu

· Educational assistance only to the counseling students.

Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund

Govt of Tamil Nadu

· Educational assistance for native of Tamilnadu with annual income less than Rs.72,000/ year are eligible.

 One time scholarship Rs.50000/- in any one of the four years.

Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme – Pudhumai penn  scheme (Penkalvi)

(2021 onwards)

  Govt of Tamil Nadu  

· Only girl students who have completed their Classes VI to XII in State Govt. school and entering higher education courses for the first time, including diplomas, UG courses and professional courses.

· Nativity of Tamil Nadu.

  Rs. 1000/- month

State Government Reservation Quota- 7.5% Govt Quota

 Govt of Tamil Nadu · Students who have completed their Classes VI to XII in State Govt. School.

Rs. 90,225/- per year.

(Govt. sanctioned tuition fee, hostel fee & all other fees including counseling fee)
